Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the secure storage, disposal and tracking of assets, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain control over exhibits, drugs, liquor and other items pending disposal or destruction.
* Organise the disposal of vehicles, property and exhibits in accordance with established protocols.
* Update records of exhibits, drugs and lost/claimed property to reflect current status.
* Utilise computer systems for property management activities, including entry, disposal and tracking.
* Conduct regular audits to verify asset holdings and monitor adherence to organisational guidelines.
* Provide expert testimony in court regarding continuity of possession.
* Deliver training and guidance on appropriate storage, recovery and disposal methods.
* Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of organisational policies and procedures.
* Able to maintain accurate records and databases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
