We operate through two key divisions: Community Services, which provides life skills, in-home care, and community access support, and Social Enterprise, which creates employment opportunities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Key responsibilities:

- A comprehensive knowledge of environmental operations and how this relates to the production process
- Lead and support the team and maintain a safe and inclusive working environment
- Coordinate resource recovery to maximise reduction of waste to landfill and increase sales, meeting site targets
- Assisting in the provision of staff training when required
- Take responsibility for recycled material movement around the site using appropriate plant and equipment.
- Work with the general public either on transfer station, gatehouse or market shop
- Assisting the public with purchasing items and when necessary
- Ensuring all team members on the transfer station are compliant with Outlooks policies and procedures
- Effective communication and customer service skills

What we are looking for:

- Experience with staff supervision and management
- Experience with tools and equipment
- Ability to problem solve in difficult situations
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work hard
- Adhering to safe work practices and following procedures
- An excavator or loader ticket (desirable)

Additional Requirements
