We're working with a high-growth digital business that's urgently looking to engage a contract Quality Engineer to support their testing efforts across multiple products and services. The client is scaling quickly and experiencing a significant test lag due to limited QE capacity, which is now impacting release cycles and automation progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test coverage.
* Contributing to end-to-end and integration testing across systems and services.
* Assisting with ongoing feature testing and responding to ad hoc or high-priority requests.
* Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent release readiness.
* Helping address test automation gaps and reduce reliance on manual regression testing.
What You'll Bring
* Solid background in software QA, across both manual and automated practices.
* Experience working in agile delivery environments and collaborating across squads.
* Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent.
* Comfortable working autonomously, picking up new domains quickly, and prioritising effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and a practical, solution-focused approach.
