Intellect Care (Counselling/ Psychotherapy) is a collaborative process to guide, explore and/or resolve personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties. Counselling is most useful when clients seek tools or techniques to support their mental health. Psychotherapy identifies unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours which may limit the client's quality of life or daily activities and equip clients with more helpful and effective ways of thinking, behaving and relating to others. What You'll Do Provide 1-on-1 telehealth/or onsite mental health support for Intellect’s clients Deliver CISP (Critical Incident Stress Programme) virtually or onsite as needed Facilitate webinars and in-person seminars (optional) Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addiction, and more Partner with our internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs Hybrid role – primarily remote, with occasional onsite attendance at our Sydney (NSW) office as required. Requirements Qualifications & Experience Counsellors: Master's in Counselling, Counselling Psychology Active membership/registration with one of: - ACA (Australian Counselling Association) - PACFA (Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia) 6–8 years of formal training, including 1,500 hours of supervised practice. Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience. CISP – Required. Clinical Psychologists: Master's in Clinical Psychology from APAC - accredited program General registration with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia) Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology preferred (or in progress via Registrar Program) 6–8 years of formal training, including 1,500 hours of supervised practice. Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience. CISP – Required. Licensure AHPRA registration preferred. Ongoing CPD compliance. Clinical Expertise Trauma-informed approaches, including TF-CBT, EMDR, DBT, and/or Somatic Experiencing (SE). Additional Requirements Fluency in English Experience with EAP and/or adult counseling preferred.
