Position: Afternoon Porter (Residential)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Afternoon Porter to work at a Mansion style Luxury residential development of circa 50 properties in Victoria, London.
The ideal candidate will be resident-focused, providing exceptional service to the community within the building.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Afternoon Porter to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the residential estate. The ideal candidate will provide an accessible, professional presence and deliver excellent caretaking support to residents, staff, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Security and Inspection:
o Conduct regular inspections of the estate, including common areas and rooftops, addressing any issues promptly.
o Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, perform routine patrols, and manage site security to prevent unauthorized access and address disturbances.
o Respond swiftly to emergencies such as fire, flood, or intrusion, prioritizing resident safety and minimizing property damage.
o Carry out regular fire safety checks, ensuring exits and common areas remain clear and all systems are operational.
* Resident Support:
o Maintain a courteous and visible presence, assisting residents with inquiries and providing practical support, especially to elderly or infirm individuals.
o Manage secure delivery and distribution of mail and packages to residents.
o Investigate and address reports of disturbances, maintenance issues, or unauthorized access, logging incidents appropriately.
o Facilitate access to flats for authorized third parties as requested by residents.
* Maintenance and Compliance:
o Oversee and coordinate contractor activities, ensuring compliance with estate regulations and reporting any issues to the Managing Agent.
o Enforce estate regulations related to noise control, waste disposal, use of communal areas, and other community guidelines.
o Maintain accurate records of residents, contractors, and incidents, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
