Job Opportunity
As a Senior Drill & Blast Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling and blasting activities in an underground gold mine. This includes developing detailed stope design processes and subsequent drill and blast designs to maximize recovery while managing dilution, adhering to industry best practice safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in mining engineering or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of five years' experience in underground drill and blast engineering, including practical long hole open stoping experience in large high-output underground operations. Additionally, candidates should have at least three years' experience in similar environments, with proficiency in Deswik, Scheduler, and Ventsim.
