The Centre
Belgravia Leisure has been awarded a three-year contract to manage the City of Sydney’s iconic leisure and aquatic centres.
In managing these centres it employs people in roles such as lifeguards, learn to swim instructors, fitness coaches, centre management, and corporate functions.
All employees are expected to work across the different locations and contribute to the Contract’s imperatives of operating sustainably, driving centre attendance, and fostering inclusion for all members of the community.

The Role

We are seeking a Casual and Part time Creche Attendant to join our fantastic team at Gunyama Park Aquatic & Recreation Centre, Zetland.
About the role
* Maintaining an interactive and safe environment for children
* Maintaining a high level of customer service
* Supervising children (aged 8 weeks - 6 years) and ensuring the Creche is not left unattended at any time
* Performing clerical tasks such as incident forms and reports
* Front of house Customer Service
* Assisting the Creche Manager in booking and communicating with parents
Essential Criteria
* Passion for working with children, and ability to interact with them in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner
* Ability to build relationships with children and families
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Certificates in Asthma and Anaphylaxis
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current National Police Check (dated within 30 days prior to employment start date)
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Weekday & Saturday availability (Between 7:45am - 14:15pm)
* 1+ years of experience working with children aged 8 weeks - 6 years
* Cultural sensitivity and able to work across the community
* Basic computer skills
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working in the Sport & Leisure industry
* Located within the City of Sydney Region
