Period of employment / Hours
Permanent full‐time (76 hours per fortnight) day work (part‐time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties
Primary Purpose / Focus – As a member of the Asset Management and Planning team, you will contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania's community infrastructure portfolio, with a particular focus on social and affordable housing, by assisting in the strategic management of the Homes Tasmania assets.
* Provide informed advice on the development, management and utilisation of the Homes Tasmania community infrastructure and housing asset portfolio.
* Contribute to the development, review and implementation of the strategic asset management framework, including acquisition, disposal, redevelopment and portfolio optimisation strategies.
* Undertake research, analysis and consultation to support evidence‐based decision‐making and the development, review and improvement of asset management policies, procedures and strategies.
Skills and experience
Selection criteria includes:
* Demonstrated experience supporting complex projects and using contemporary project management practices to undertake project related work, including prioritising workloads to meet deadlines in a complex and changing environment.
* Demonstrated research skills, including an ability to collate, coordinate, interpret and analyse information, together with the ability to improve or create new policies, strategies and procedures.
* Written communication skills that demonstrate the capacity to produce high quality documents in a variety of communication formats for a diverse range of stakeholders.

* Experience in asset management, construction/engineering, land use planning and/or project management.
