Domestic Cleaning/ Food Services
National Capital Private Hospital is a 148 bed accredited hospital located in central Canberra, and co-located on the Canberra Hospital campus in Garran.
Ideally you would have previously worked in a similar environment and be a team player, motivated, and able to communicate to staff and patients and demonstrate a high level of initiative. Experience is not essential as all training will be provided. You will support nursing staff and perform cleaning duties including cleaning patient rooms and handing out patient meals.
As a Support Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
* Provide high standard of food and cleaning services
* Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Selection Criteria:
* Experience in a Hospital/Hotel/Aged care setting may be an advantage
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team.
* Works well independently and within a team
* Must have the right to work in Australia
