Staying true to our values ensures that we consistently deliver positive outcomes for all South Australians.About the roleWe are seeking a Financial Analyst to support and deliver end-to-end Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) services. This role plays a vital part in informing investment decisions, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring SA Water’s long-term financial sustainability.As a key adviser, you will provide financial insights, assist with investment proposal reviews, support budget development, and prepare analysis that empowers senior decision-making across the organisation.About Business Insights and ExcellenceThe Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, financial management, supply chain management, and Risk Governance & Assurance to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.In addition, your responsibilities will include:Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.You will:Assist in reviewing business initiatives and investment proposals, applying best-practice FP&A principlesUse financial modelling to assess investment trade-offs and risksSupport the annual budgeting process and monitor emerging financial issuesDeliver insightful reporting and presentations to inform business strategyContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A functionCollaborate across business groups and maintain effective stakeholder relationshipsSkills, Knowledge, and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experienceStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teamsExperience in applying FP&A principles within a corporate environment (Desirable)Financial systems experience (e.g. Oracle) (Desirable)Innovative thinking to support business development initiativesTo apply, click 'Apply'.
