About the program
The Intern program provides students with 12 weeks of paid employment, giving you the opportunity to participate in industry‐leading oil and gas developments while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study. The program also provides education and training to help cultivate professional skills within a diverse, inclusive, supportive, and collaborative workplace. Candidates who self‐identify as neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Tourette's, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
About the role
During the Intern Program you will work across the Subsurface teams comprising Geologists, Geophysicists, and Engineers on a variety of projects designed to grow your capabilities and add business value. You can also expect cross‐functional opportunities that increase your business knowledge as you collaborate to deliver results. The role will be based in Chevron's new building at One The Esplanade.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Eligible to legally work and live in Australia permanently.
* In your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree or postgraduate studies.
* Available for full‐time work (Monday to Friday) throughout the duration of employment from 23 November 2026 until 19 February 2027, with the week of 21 December off work.
* Effective communication skills and strong analytical skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
