Flexshield is seeking a high-performance Head of Project Delivery to take ownership of how projects move through our business — from order handover through to manufacturing, dispatch and successful client outcomes.
This role is central to our growth. You will lead the coordination of projects, people, suppliers and production to ensure we consistently deliver On Time In Full (DIFOT) while protecting project margins and maintaining strong client relationships.

Flexshield is a family-owned Australian manufacturer specialising in engineered industrial noise control solutions. For over 15 years we have delivered projects across critical infrastructure, construction, mining and industrial sectors throughout Australia.
We are entering a major growth phase with the development of a new purpose-built manufacturing and head office facility in Toowoomba, investment in advanced machinery and a strong national project pipeline.
This role will play a key part in shaping the operational performance and scalability of the business.
The Role
As Head of Project Delivery, you will take responsibility for ensuring projects run smoothly across the entire delivery lifecycle.
You will lead internal teams, liaise with clients and suppliers, and drive systems and processes that improve project flow, production performance and overall delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Leadership
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple engineered manufacturing projects
Ensure projects are delivered in full on time (DIFOT) and meet quality expectations
Lead project coordination between sales, estimating, production and dispatch
Maintain strong communication with clients throughout project delivery
Identify delivery risks early and implement practical solutions
Manufacturing & Operational Flow
Work closely with production teams to manage scheduling, priorities and capacity
Remove bottlenecks impacting manufacturing throughput
Improve workflows, reporting visibility and accountability across teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials are available and timelines are met
Monitor project margins and delivery performance
Assist in resolving variations, delays or site-related challenges
Contribute to planning that supports scalable business growth
Provide leadership and direction to project and production teams
Build a culture of ownership, performance and collaboration
Support training, development and process improvement initiatives
About You
Proven experience in a project delivery, operations or manufacturing leadership role
Background in construction, engineered manufacturing or project-based environments
Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
Commercial awareness with a focus on profitable delivery outcomes
Confident communicator who can liaise effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Driven, accountable and motivated to improve systems and performance
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth-focused business
