Financial Accountant Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting month-end close processes, including general ledger reconciliations.
* Maintaining balance sheet integrity – reviews, substantiation, and variance analysis.
* Providing monthly reporting support and commentary for stakeholders.
* Assisting with tax compliance (BAS, GST, FBT, and related obligations).
* Supporting statutory accounts and ANZ compliance requirements.
* Liaising with external auditors and supporting audit deliverables.
* Contributing to process improvement, tighter controls, and stronger governance practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* CA/CPA qualification or currently studying.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar financial accounting role, particularly with month-end heavy responsibilities.
* Strong technical foundation and a control-minded approach.
* Ability to delve into details, challenge numbers, and enhance processes.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
