First Class Welder – Permanent Role (Beaumont Region, WA) Salary: $80-95k Accommodation Vehicle Phone Our client is a large-scale agricultural enterprise located in the Beaumont region of Western Australia. They are currently seeking a First Class Welder to join their team in a full-time permanent position. This role is ideal for an experienced and responsible tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and at least five years of relevant industry experience, particularly with agricultural and plant machinery and steel structures. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and repair structural and agricultural machinery components Cut, shape, align, and join metal using a range of welding techniques Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Examine and assess welds for quality and accuracy Operate pipe rotators, manipulators, overhead cranes, and gantry hoists Maintain high safety standards and adhere to company QA systems Requirements: Qualified tradesperson (Certificate III or equivalent in Engineering/Fabrication) Minimum 5 years’ experience in welding and metal fabrication Proficiency with light to medium steelwork Ability to work independently and follow instructions Skilled in flux core and solid wire welding Experience with Quality Assurance systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment Desirable Skills: Experience with structural and pressure vessel welding Previous work in agricultural or industrial environments Competency using hand tools, flame cutters, and shaping machinery Familiarity with welding inspection techniques and QA documentation What’s on Offer: Competitive salary package of $80-95k Accommodation provided Company vehicle and phone Opportunity to work with a progressive and supportive team in regional WA To Apply: Click the ‘Apply Now’ link and submit your resume with at least two work-related references.
