We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to busy field-based teams and depot operations.
About the Role
* Deliver high-quality administrative, finance and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day depot operations.
* Partner with managers, supervisors and operational crews requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process timesheets, overtime, TIL and allowances accurately and efficiently.
* Provide labour costing, invoicing and accounts payable administration support.
* Source and manage materials and uniform ordering, as well as office and operational supplies.
* Create and maintain Purchase Orders in line with established procedures.
* Manage local facilities and fleet administration, including logbook management.
* Coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements for employees.
* Support office operations, stationery and general administration tasks.
* Assist with procurement, stocktakes, asset disposal and delivery coordination activities.
* Prepare and maintain accurate documents, reports, spreadsheets, agendas and minutes.
* Contribute to people operations, including training coordination and recruitment administration.
* Maintain up-to-date records and data in accordance with policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
* Prior experience in a similar Business Support / Administration role (government experience highly valued).
* Strong skills in MS Office and proficiency in using systems such as Oracle, SharePoint, MS Teams or similar.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
* Adaptability and confidence working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* CURRENTLY HOLD A VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE.
