About the role
The Preschools and Early Childhood Services Division provides exceptional support and advocacy for high quality SA Government early childhood education and care services. The Executive Assistant reports to the Director, Quality Preschools and is responsible for providing a range of complex and specialised administrative duties to support the work of the Director and the Quality Preschools directorate.
The Executive Assistant provides efficient, responsive and professional point of contact for internal and external clients and delivers a range of business, financial, project management and support services including coordinating and undertaking delivery of quality records management, procurement, travel, events, HR processes and document management functions that contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Preschools and Early Childhood Services Division. The Executive Assistant delivers efficient and responsive support for the day activities of the Director, Quality Preschools and other staff in the directorate.
Qualifications
Essential: None.
Desirable: An appropriate tertiary qualification.
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed and must renew this every five years. The incumbent will also be required to undertake the RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which must be updated every three years.
Remuneration
ASO3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
