**Your new role**
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with the business, providing strategic human resources coaching, advice, and support. You will contribute to various people-related initiatives, including recruitment and selection activities, employee relations, health, safety, and wellbeing programs, and process improvement. By leveraging your expertise, you will enhance the employee experience and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and capabilities. A qualification in human resources or equivalent experience is essential. You should have extensive experience in a strategic HR generalist or specialist role, dealing with complex employee-related matters and contemporary HR practices. A profound understanding of employee relations, health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as relevant legislation, is required.
You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are crucial for building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You should have a proven ability to provide sound people advice and partner with the business. Autonomy and sound judgement in decision-making are valued, along with a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player mindset.
