We're seeking a skilled Social Media Coordinator to bring our brand to life across social media platforms, engage audiences and showcase breathtaking experiences.


This is a part-time permanent position with flexible days (3 days a week) based in our Launceston office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content that engages our community, strengthens our brand presence, and drives audience growth.




Key Responsibilities



1. Execute our social media strategy in line with broader Sales & Marketing goals.

2. Create and design engaging content across multiple formats for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including assets for paid social campaigns.

3. Monitor and manage community interactions, user-generated content (UGC), and social listening across all platforms.

4. Stay ahead of trends by identifying new features and opportunities on key social media platforms to drive engagement and growth.

5. Maintain brand consistency by ensuring all social content aligns with our tone of voice and brand DNA.

6. Capture real-time content by collaborating with the operations team to showcase our walking experiences.

7. Collaborate with influencers and brand partners to expand reach, engage new audiences, and strengthen brand credibility.

8. Track and report on social media performance, using data insights to optimise content strategies.

9. Support our Marketing Manager in delivering key commercial projects, ensuring social media aligns with priority business initiatives.





Requirements



* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the tourism industry.

* A strong knowledge of social media trends and platforms.

* Confident rapport-building and business relationship management capabilities.

* Experience with copywriting and video editing for brands.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
