These workshops are part of Red Cross's broader emergency preparedness, response, and recovery programs.The opportunityAs a Pillowcase Workshop Facilitator, you will join a network of volunteers conducting one-hour sessions in schools where children learn about disaster preparedness through an interactive activity decorating a pillowcase.The impactEmergencies can occur anytime, from large-scale events like floods or fires to personal tragedies. Better emergency preparedness helps individuals, families, and communities recover more effectively. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in your community.Red Cross provides training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within its extensive humanitarian network.As an Emergency Services volunteer, you will help people become better prepared, more connected, and resilient during emergencies.
