Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
Provide a high standard of individualised client care and appropriate support links between the client and service providers to ensure quality service standards are being met and the best possible outcomes are achieved for each client
Although the primary concern is ministering to the patients, the service is also expected to support their families and hospital staff.
The Chaplain will possess and further develop particular understanding of the relationship between faith, illness and the emotional mental and spiritual factors during hospital admission

About You
You hold a tertiary-level qualification in pastoral or spiritual care, or a closely related discipline. You bring formal training in Pastoral Care techniques and have completed a supervised pastoral practice training program.

You communicate with clarity and empathy, demonstrating strong problem‐solving and interpersonal skills. You build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

You work collaboratively and systemically with a wide range of stakeholders, contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You're confident in providing support, guidance, and training to other professionals at both individual and group levels.

You are comfortable using a variety of software programs and have well‐developed computer skills. You also hold a current driver's licence and are able to travel when required.
