Diesel Fitter Role
We are seeking skilled professionals to undertake the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.
About The Position
* Perform various tasks including general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change-outs.
* Source technical information from relevant reference manuals and computer-based systems.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
* Conduct regular inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.
Main Responsibilities
* Undertake the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy machinery.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks including breakdowns, services and component change-outs.
* Source technical information from reference manuals and computer-based systems.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal equipment utilisation.
Requirements
* Hold a trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent qualification.
* Possess post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry.
* Have experience in performing general maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
* Demonstrate experience with Liebherr and CAT heavy earth moving equipment.
