We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller for SA Power Networks, to work out of the Pt Pirie.
Role Purpose
The Document Controller is responsible for the effective and efficient development, maintenance and communication of both project and process related records to support stakeholders and end-users.
The Document Controller reports to the Systems and Improvement Business Partner and is accountable for the maintenance of project documentation and the control of Enerven project offices document registers.
The position also provides a service to the Enerven Systems and Improvement team to support the development of an Enerven Quality Management System.
Key Objectives
Ensure that Enerven system and project documents, drawings and records are managed in a consistent manner and comply with formal management processes, client requirements and controls
Establish and manage project document registers (documents, form, designs and drawings etc). Ensure correct project numbering of documentation.
Coordinate for projects the appropriate documentation for the project management team, site personnel and for clients (both internal and external).
Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and processes, including the Knowledge Central workflows.
Continuously assess processes in document and drawing management, making recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity. Provide advice, user training and work instructions/processes to ensure quality records, data and drawings are produced and maintained.
Ensure that electronic and hard copies of quality files are altered for newly developed or changed procedures, work instructions and manuals. Maintain a project filing system in accordance with client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate in an appropriate business discipline and / or extensive experience in a project management environment working to ISO9001.
System platform knowledge (Aconex, TeamBinder, SPF etc)
Holder of a current SA Drivers Licence 3-4 years relevant experience in a commercial position related to project management.
