An exciting opportunity has been created within a well known Australian FMCG manufacturing business for a commercially minded Financial Analyst.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for analytical support, the business is investing in strengthening its FP&A capability. This role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical part in delivering accurate, timely and decision-ready financial insights across the organisation.
The Role:
Leading monthly Board reporting packs (including commentary and financial storytelling)
Supporting month-end close processes
Building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel
Performing scenario planning and sensitivity analysis across pricing, volume and operations
Supporting budgeting, reforecasting and long-range planning processes
Analysing financial and operational data to identify risks, trends and margin implications
Partnering with stakeholders across sales, operations and supply chain
About You Essential:
Advanced Excel skills (will be formally tested)
Strong financial acumen and understanding of core accounting principles
Ability to build, interrogate and refine financial models
Clear and confident communication skills
Proactive, self-directed and commercially minded
Highly regarded:
FMCG or manufacturing experience
CA/CPA qualified or working towards
Exposure to Power BI
Experience in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting environments
Demonstrated leadership potential
