About the Role
We're looking for an Industrial Designer / Shopfitter to join our creative team.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys both design thinking and hands‐on fabrication, and who takes pride in bringing ideas to life physically. You'll be responsible for building display stands and shopfitting‐style fixtures, managing merchandising assets, and supporting creative projects that showcase our products at their best.
You'll report to the Head of Creative and work closely with our design, marketing and production teams in a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and ownership is valued.
This role blends practical shopfitting and fabrication with creative and design‐led thinking, making it ideal for an industrial design graduate or junior industrial designer who enjoys being on the tools and working beyond the screen.
What You'll Be Doing
Display Build & Shopfitting
* Build and assemble POS display stands, for vanities, basins and tapware to be installed throughout or retail partners showrooms
* Produce one‐off builds, prototypes and custom solutions for showrooms and campaigns
* Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and finish across all display assets
* Manage, prepare and maintain merchandising samples and display components
* Operate a laser cutter to produce signage, templates and creative elements
* Support creative concepts with practical, buildable solutions
* Assist with staging and setup for photoshoots and content production
Creative Team Support
* Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to translate concepts into physical outcomes
* Assist with general workshop, setup and creative tasks as requiredHelp improve processes, storage and presentation of physical creative assets
About You
* You're practical, detail‐oriented and enjoy working at the intersection of design and fabrication.
* You may be an industrial design graduate, a junior industrial designer, or someone with shopfitting or fabrication experience who enjoys creative builds and brand‐focused work.
* You take pride in your workmanship, enjoy problem‐solving, and are comfortable taking ownership of hands‐on tasks.
* Most importantly, you're looking for somewhere you can settle in, contribute and grow, with a clear pathway beyond purely executional work.
Skills & Experience
* Hands‐on experience with MDF, plywood and workshop tools
* Strong attention to detail and pride in build quality
* Experience with or interest in shopfitting, fabrication or prototyping
* Exposure to laser cutting or CNC equipment highly regarded
* Ability to work independently and manage build tasks end to end
* Comfortable supporting photoshoots, staging and creative projects
* Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design or a related discipline welcomed but not essential
