The Commercial and Contracting Services Directorate is part of the Finance and Commercial Services Division and has responsibility for providing procurement and commercial legal support to the Department and schools, for contract planning and management, insurance management and fleet management.
The Role
The Contract Support Officer provides administrative support to the Branch, primarily assisting with the coordination and maintenance of contract and procurement documentation, systems, and records. They prepare routine documents, maintain accurate data within the Procurement and Contract Management System, and support compliance with government purchasing requirements.
The position provides direct support to clients to ensure required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, offering guidance on processes and documentation requirements as needed. They prepare correspondence, reports and spreadsheets, and supports routine contract administration and training coordination activities. The role also liaises with clients on standard contract matters, contributes to a safe, inclusive and collaborative work environment aligned with Branch and organisational objectives.
