Prison officers play a vital role in maintaining public safety and delivering rehabilitative services within the correctional environment.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have completed the Corrections Victoria Prison Officer Pre-service Training Program and possess a full Victorian driver's license. A Certificate III in Correctional Practices is highly desirable but not essential.
This is a uniformed position that requires shift work and involves working 24/7, including public holidays. Successful applicants will be required to undergo comprehensive training to ensure they are equipped to manage the demands of this role.
