Overflow Industries PTY LTD (OFI), a subsidiary of NRW Holdings is an electrical engineering and contracting business at the forefront of electrical innovation and integration in Australia. Our dynamic team of experts specialise in Industrial and Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation and Design and Construction within the Mining and resources sector, Government and Defence, Fuels and Explosives and other key markets.

OFI are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our growing team, based at our Welshpool office. With office locations in Welshpool and Bunbury the Operations Manager will need to work across both offices overseeing the day-to-day project-based operations of the company ensuring proper operational controls, continuous improvement and best practice.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Fully accountable for operational delivery ensuring all those activities are in line with the Companies purpose, core values and strategies.
* Monitor and manage the company's project related commercial and operational risk exposure
* Develop and grow the entire project team by following OFI's leadership principles, continuous improvement systems, regular meetings and personal development plans.
* Review sales proposals and oversee company sales to ensure risks appropriately mitigated, margins are maintained, and utilisation is optimised
* Monitor and manage existing and upcoming projects resource requirements
* Facilitate a collaborative, efficient and effective interaction and communication between all OFI teams.
* Ensure all work meets client specifications, client scope of works, client and company drawings, complies with ASNZS standards, Australian wiring rules and applicable regulations

Your Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

* Previous Operational Management or Project Management experience within an electrical engineering or contracting company.
* Previous experience working within an electrical manufacturing company – ideally manufacturing switch rooms.
* Excellent leadership skills and previous people management experience.
* Strong understanding of financial systems and implementation.
* Previous experience allocating and managing project resources.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (particularly in Excel and MS Project).
* Safety and Management Risk Training (Desirable).
