About The Role

* Play a crucial role in managing patient flow within the Acute site and between Grampians Health campuses
* Training and ongoing support provided
* A chance to expand your skills and experience in this supportive and collaborative environment
* Rotating Rosters - Monday-Sunday with varying shift length
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with all after hours clinical teams to coordinate an effective centralised bed management system
* Oversee the operations of the Horsham Campus to ensure optimal patient access and flow
* Maintain knowledge and understanding of all points of access into the campus, across Grampians Health and the Grampians region
* Ensure referrals from other health services are triaged and prioritised for admission and a timely safe transfer plan is implemented
* Keep team members focused when under pressure through role modelling a calm approach, adopting a positive outlook and offering support where necessary
Skills & Experience
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with experience in an acute hospital setting
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Relevant post graduate qualifications, management experience desirable

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 5 which ranges from $66.86 per hour.
