Legal Counsel – Purpose led business - Brisbane
A large, established organisation operating in a regulated and commercially active environment is seeking a 4–9 year corporate/commercial lawyer to join its in-house team.
This is a contracts-focused role within a mature legal function. The team is well regarded internally and involved early in business decision-making.
The Role
You will:
* Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
* Support procurement and supplier arrangements
* Advise on contractual risk and compliance obligations
* Partner closely with operational and project stakeholders
This is a delivery-focused position suited to a lawyer who enjoys being embedded in the business and providing clear, pragmatic advice.
About You
You will likely have:
* 4–9 years' PAE in corporate/commercial law with strong contracts experience
* Strong drafting and negotiation capability
* Experience working in or alongside regulated industries
* A practical, commercially minded approach to risk
