Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Job Opportunity
Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Diesel Mechanic Role Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and complex repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Key Qualifications and Experience
* Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Heavy Road Transport or Certificate III in Diesel Fitting).
* First Aid and CPR certification, Low Voltage Rescue and CPR qualification, Confined Space Entry with BA training, Fire Extinguisher · Gas training, Test Atmospheres qualification, Working at Height training, 4WD Skill Set qualification, Wellsite Permit to Work Holder, Confined Space Rescue training, and Working Safely at Heights Rescue training.
