Our company, Battery Rescue, runs a used battery recycling service, with a focus on safety, environmental responsibility and a professional, regulation compliant service.
We are located in Bibra Lake and service the Metro Perth regions and several of WA's leading mining companies.
You will be primarily responsible for:
1. Preparing Shipping Documents for regional / mine site customers and book pickups.
2. Record details for each battery collection / delivery job.
3. Add new customer details & maintain existing customer details in various software.
4. Prepare Invoices and Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTI) for customers.
5. Order and maintain stock as directed by Operations Manager.
6. Maintain and update Administration systems and procedures.
7. Record employee timesheets and setup new employees.
8. Setup and manage new & existing suppliers.
9. Renew annual general insurance and workers compensation policies.
10. Develop marketing material as instructed by BDM Manager / General Manager.
11. Publish and update website content using Wordpress CMS as directed.
The successful applicant should have the following skills:
• Excellent computer skills using email, spreadsheets, documents, powerpoint, publisher
• Experience using Xero accounting software
• Experience with Wordpress Content Management System (website) would be desirable.
• High-level English and permanent rights to work in Australia
We are seeking an efficient, well organised individual who demonstrates a fanatical attention to detail. The successful applicant should demonstrate a willingness to learn and possess positive, professional communication skills.
The position is a part-time role with 5 days per week and approximately 5 hours per day required. You can work from the office and home however a minimum of 2 days at the office will be required.
