About the role

GLS is offering an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a dynamic Service Support role within a highly developed and well-organised service department. We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to grow their skills and knowledge while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

These full-time, permanent position are based in Hume, Canberra, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service delivery Australia wide.

Available positions include:

* Service Coordinator - Queensland Division (working from Hume, ACT)
* Service Coordinator - NSW Division (working from Hume, ACT)
* Invoicing Coordinator - covers all divisions (working from Hume, ACT)

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the first point of contact and manage incoming calls professionally and efficiently
* Accurately enter and maintain client data in our service management system (simPRO)
* Liaise with clients, technicians, and subcontractors to coordinate service delivery
* Plan and schedule service technicians to ensure timely and effective job completion
* Prepare reports, quotations, and proposals for clients
* Order parts and materials in advance to meet job requirements
* Collate job paperwork and generate accurate invoices
* Provide ongoing support and communication to our technicians on the road
* Perform general office administration duties as required

Skills and experience

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be confident, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. You'll be interacting with senior professionals both within and outside of GLS, so professionalism and clarity are key.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in administration support
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely
* Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and team members
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* A reliable, punctual, and proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with simPRO is a strong advantage
* A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to continuous improvement
* Ability to follow and implement company procedures, checklists, and processes
