The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Urgent Care Clinic Operations Coordinator to support the operational performance of our Urgent Care network. This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating GP locum rostering, onboarding, invoicing and workforce planning across the designated state(s), ensuring clinics are optimally staffed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with Regional Managers, Practice Managers, GP Recruiters and the National Urgent Care team to build effective roster systems, forecast staffing needs and manage locum logistics end-to-end.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain a structured, state-wide rostering system that provides visibility of current and future workforce needs
* Coordinate shift allocation with key stakeholders to ensure coverage, compliance and efficiency
* Proactively identify roster gaps and implement timely solutions and escalation pathways
* Forecast staffing requirements using historical data, operational trends and service expansion plans
* Manage end-to-end onboarding of GP locums across all required systems
* Coordinate travel and logistics for urgent and ad-hoc shift coverage
* Track and reconcile locum invoicing in line with rostered shifts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
* Monitor roster performance and provide regular reporting to the General Manager / Head of Operations
* Support compliance with labour laws, organisational policies and WHS requirements

About You

* Proven experience in rostering or workforce coordination, ideally within healthcare
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience analysing data to support workforce planning and decision making
* Knowledge of labour legislation and rostering compliance requirements
