Psychiatric Care Specialist for Children and Adolescents
The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management of children and adolescents with mental health issues.
* Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and paediatricians to deliver integrated care.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
Requirements:
* Fellowship of the RANZCP with accredited subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
* Current or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA.
* Proven experience in working with vulnerable young people and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
