Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to establish their Human Resources function in house and ensure the business is set up for growth through strong people management.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Create and issue HR documentation, including contracts, variation letters and ER letters
- Creating and coordinating a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
- Ensuring and supporting positive employee relations
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
- Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Updating and maintaining all employee files
- To ensure the safety of all employees and to abide by WH&S; legislation
- Coordinating training and development for all staff
- Enterprise Agreement interpretation
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and / or minimum 5 years' experience in HR-related roles.
- Prior experience within a blue collar employee setting
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to navigate conflicting demands and priorities; and meet deadlines.
