Job Title:
Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team in Sydenham, working on the first driverless metro train in Australia.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will be responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance programmes on the fleet of trains and depot infrastructure repairs/maintenance, investigating faults on mechanical, pneumatic and other components as required/instructed in line with core discipline, refurbishing and modifying rolling stock including replacement and upgrading of components and systems, responding to in-service breakdowns and participating in a 'first response situation' should emergencies arise.
About You:
* You will have a minimum 3 years relevant work experience in technical functions and hold an electrician licence.
* Railway industry experience is preferred but not essential.
* You will also possess strong troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail.
