Locum Non-Clinical / Home Support Assessor
$61 - $62 p.h. + 11.5% super and travel allowance
McArthur has exciting opportunities for experienced Home Support Assessors, working in a locum capacity with an organisation dedicated to providing high-quality assessment services for older adults and people living with disabilities.
The organisation
Our client is a prominent provider of assessment services, focused on ensuring that older Australians receive the support they need to live independently while retaining and maximising their functional capabilities. They work closely with clients, service providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate referrals to essential services.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate timely, client-centred assessments that enhance the independence and quality of life for older Australians.
* Engage with families and carers as key stakeholders throughout the assessment process.
* Monitor and manage assessment schedules, ensuring assessments are completed by the due date and in line with Department of Health requirements.
* Collaborate with team members and participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure exceptional service delivery.
* Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent service and demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Skills / Experience
* Qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Community Aged Care
* MUST have minimum of 6 months recent experience working across RAS and the new Single Assessment Service and hold IAT and SOA2 or SAS certification
* Demonstrated ability to conduct client assessments and provide high-quality service delivery.
* Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
* Valid Australian driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle for travel requirements.
* Understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Home Care Packages.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build rapport with clients and teams.
* Able to work at least 3 days per week

* Great casual hourly rate of $61.60 per hour plus 11.5% super, plus generous travel allowance of 99c per km, and weekly pay every Thursday.

Note : This position involves travel within the western Gippsland region, and assessments must be completed according to established timelines and quality standards. The KPI for a Non-Clinical Assessor is 3 assessments per day, which can be reduced if longer travel times between clients in rural areas are involved.
