Coordinator Visitation and Festivals Marketing
- **Salary Range Band 8 $125,104 - $140,199 plus 11.5% super**
- **Full time, permanent position**

**About City of Port Phillip**

We are a vibrant and diverse inner-city council stretching 20kms from South to Port Melbourne along the stunning bay beaches down to Elwood and out to St Kilda East with around 1000 people who all work together to deliver more than 100 programs and services to our engaged community of residents, businesses and visitors. Think, childcare, libraries, parks, recreation, waste rubbish collection, road maintenance, family and youth services, property & assets, city planning & development, customer experience, digital technology, governance, people, culture and safety, and of course South Melbourne Market! **What's the role all about**

This role will lead audience development and engagement for programs and initiatives including visitor attraction and destination marketing, local business and trader initiatives, festivals, events, and arts and culture programming.

This includes oversight of the What's On St Kilda and Southside digital channels and marketing campaigns for the St Kilda Festival and St Kilda Film Festival.

**What you might do**
- Drive marketing activities and provide leadership to the team responsible.
- Ensure continuous improvement of Council's destination marketing and festival channels
- Deliver creative and innovative marketing activity
- Build audiences to improve customer reach, impact, engagement and outcomes

**Who we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or other relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns to drive visitation.
- Experience working within a political setting or equivalent stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive and constructive working relationships.
