The Employment, Workplace Relations & Safety Team
The Workplace Relations & Safety team at this law firm is a leading practice in Australia, acting for both private and public sector clients on complex and significant WHS, employment and industrial relations litigation and advice.
It is a nationally integrated WR&S team that has strong ambitions to continue to grow.
The Role
There is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor to join the Brisbane office.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of employment, industrial relations and WHS matters, with a particular focus on the state and local government, resources, and transport sectors.
This includes advice on awards and enterprise bargaining, industrial relations, equal opportunity, unfair and wrongful dismissals, contracts of employment, restraints of trade, protection of confidential information and intellectual property rights, risk management, workplace safety, and training.

Requirements
To be successful, you will be a lawyer with at least 2 years' PAE in employment law.
In addition, you will have:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Confidence in building strong relationships with clients and team members.
* An ability to work well both autonomously and as a part of a close-knit team.
* Genuine passion for building your career and developing your skills in the area of employment relations and safety.
