Kilmore Racing Club is a dual code site, providing both Thoroughbred and Harness racing and training facilities.
We are seeking an experienced industry professional to join our team in the role of Racing Operations Manager. In this full time role, you will oversee the efficient delivery of Race Day Operations and Event Management, contributing to the success of the KRC race-day experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of race day operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards
* Oversee race day staff recruitment, training, and rostering
* Liaising with key stakeholders such as race-day officials, staff and patrons to address any issues or concerns
* Develop and execute operational planning for major race days and racecourse events
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of events.
* Securing and fostering new Club sponsorship partners, managing the annual renewal process and identifying opportunities for growth
* Attending KRC race days to host sponsors and promote the KRC brand.
Who we are looking for
* Experience in a similar racing operations or event management role
* A passion for racing - ideally you will possess an understanding of the rules, regulations, and best practices in the industry
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Proven problem solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes
* A proven background in providing exceptional customer service and experiences.
