We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health nurse to provide emergency psychiatric nursing assessment, care planning and management for patients with acute mental health issues.
The role focuses on ensuring safe discharge and supporting the broader mental health care landscape.

Ideal Candidate
Registered Nurse, eligible with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Extensive experience in acute Mental Health nursing with risk assessment and crisis management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Leadership and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
Knowledge in quality improvement practices for Mental Health services
Proficient in clinical applications and information systems
Valid C or C-A Class driver's licence
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop crisis intervention plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Liaise with community services to support safe discharge plans
Act as a resource on mental health nursing issues and provide expert advice
Develop and maintain clinical pathways, policies and guidelines with mental health clinicians and managers
Contribute to the education and development of nursing staff in mental health practices
