Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Specialist to join our team in the Goldfields. As a specialist, you will work with our leadership and reliability team to focus on technical jobs and share knowledge and experience.
What You'll Do:
* Apply your technical expertise to support diagnostics and fault-finding across a large mobile fleet.
* Be a hands-on mentor to upskill and guide the on-site maintenance team.
* Work closely with site supervisors to lift team capability and embed best-practice maintenance standards.
* Drive frontline performance and reliability improvements where your input makes a real impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
* Australian National Mobile Plant Mechanic/Diesel Fitter Trade Qualification or Auto Electrician trade cert.
* Experience in either a Field Service or Leading Hand Role would suit well.
* Friendly communication skills with a focus on team and company culture.
Benefits:
* Full-time rate: $80-$85 per hour, plus 11.5% Super on all hours.
* Roster flexibility: 2 and 1, 2 and 2, 8 and 6 - open to discussion.
* Day shift only due to the nature of this position.
