**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our friendly team at Village Cinemas Hobart!
Reporting to the Site Management team, the Cleaner is responsible for day-to-day cleaning duties, ensuring our cinemas are looking fresh and clean for all of our guests. You will have a strong focus on minimising any possible health risks and maximising health and safety across the cinema site.
You will be responsible for:
- Cleaning service areas, storage and staff areas when required, keeping free of litter, spills and dust.
- Monitoring and cleaning foyer and public areas including but not limited to the maintenance, replenishment and cleaning of the public rest rooms in accordance with Company standards.
- Recognising additional cleaning requirements and resolving or reporting to the appropriate person.
- Ensuring the cinema is fully conversant with the Company's Safety and Hygiene standards.
**Skills and Experience**:
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate, with a strong focus across health and safety. If you have an interest in entertainment and film, it is an added bonus!
- Previous cleaning experience desirable
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Punctual with great time management skills
- Ability to work on any day including weekends, school holidays and evening functions, with shifts generally being night shifts between (8pm - 1am)
