CMBM Facility Services (Clean, Maintain, Build, Manage) is a long-established Queensland owned and operated company with our head office based in Eight Mile Plains.
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Support professional to join our team on a part-time basis. This role supports payroll operations across three divisions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Role Details
* Part-time (office-based), 2 full days or 3 half days per week
* Flexible hours available
About the Role
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will provide payroll support and administrative assistance to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and compliantly.
Key responsibilities include:
* Monitoring a payroll inbox and responding to payroll-related enquiries in a timely manner
* Reviewing approved timesheets and liaising with Managers regarding required adjustments
* Assisting with payroll variations, allowances, deductions, and ad hoc payments
* Supporting payroll processing and reconciliation, including variance checks and audit support
* Maintaining accurate employee payroll records (personal details, banking, tax, superannuation)
* Liaising with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies
* Supporting end-to-end payroll processing across MYOB and Employment Hero
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll or similar role
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Background in accounting, finance, or payroll
* Proficient computer and software skills
* Experience with MYOB and Employment Hero (preferred but not essential)
