Ward 5D is a 28-bed General Medicine and Rehabilitation ward currently operating from the brand-new Maitland Hospital while John Hunter Hospital undergoes upgrades. Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and supportive, with a culture of open communication, respect, and teamwork. About the Role
A typical day on Ward 5D is diverse, rewarding, and team-focused. You'll work closely with nurses, doctors, and allied health staff to provide high-quality care for patients on their recovery and rehabilitation journeys. As an Enrolled Nurse here, you'll have the opportunity to build rapport with patients, support them throughout their admissions, and see the impact of your care as they progress.

Orientation & Training
* Comprehensive ward orientation program to introduce you to patients, processes, and equipment.
* Supernumerary shifts at the beginning of placement to help you settle in and learn the ward routine.

* Regular in-services and education sessions delivered by Clinical Nurse Educators and senior staff.
