We're looking for a warm, community-minded Catering Assistant to join our Kensington team from 15:00–19:00, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. What You'll Do
* Deliver \"service with a smile\" while interacting with our residents during their evening meal
* Assist the Chef with bulk cooking and food prep to ensure every meal is nutritious and delicious
* Take ownership of the dishwashing and cleaning to keep our community kitchen safe and sparkling
* Work independently to manage your workflow and hit service deadlines with care and precision
* Support the 15:00–19:00 dinner window to ensure a smooth, dignified dining experience for all
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Must hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening and National Police Check
* Current Flu Vaccination is essential to ensure the health and safety of our vulnerable residents
* A natural \"people person\" who finds joy in working with the elderly and supporting their wellbeing
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of your tasks in a busy kitchen setting
* Previous kitchen or catering experience is valued, but a service-heart is our top priority
