About the role
As an experienced Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant (or an experienced Accountant for the right person), you will play a key role in the continual growth of the company. Duties associated with this role include reconciliation of client accounts & invoices, payroll, ATO requirements, payments & administrative duties. You'll manage stakeholders & maintain a positive client focus.

Key Responsibilities
* Accounts receivable & payable processing with assisted software automation
* Involvement in payroll & superannuation
* Month-end & year-end profit reporting (following existing process & procedures)
* Ad-hoc bookkeeping & finance tasks as required
* Involvement in team meetings
* Contribute to team discussions & collaboration for continual process improvement
* Undertake regular training
* Administrative duties as required
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualifications in bookkeeping desirable, but not essential
* Well rounded experience with Xero
* Accounts payable, accounts receivable & payroll experience
* Understanding of Australian tax & GST
* Great communication skills & ability to build relationships
* Approachable person that can contribute to discussions & an open, collaborative work culture
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Reliable & punctual
* A friendly & fun personality are highly valued qualities!
