About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Jamaica Blue Sunshine Plaza as a Barista. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and consistently preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages. The role is based in our cafe located in Maroochydore, QLD 4558.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee and specialty beverages to our customers
* Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and making recommendations to customers
* Ensuring the cafe's equipment and work area are clean, organised and well-stocked
* Providing prompt, friendly and helpful customer service at all times
* Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures
* Assisting with other cafe duties as required
What we're looking for
* At least 6 months' experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe environment
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
* Strong coffee-making skills and a passion for creating exceptional beverages
* Good time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Flexible availability to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
