Mental Health Occupational Therapy Role
As a mental health occupational therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to clients in the Warragul region. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapies.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide holistic care.
* Conduct group sessions and workshops on stress management, anxiety reduction, and coping skills, promoting mental health awareness and resources.
* Establish relationships with local community organizations, schools, and businesses to promote mental health initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum 2 years of experience working in mental health settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment.
