Job Title: Disability Team Lead
This is a senior leadership position responsible for guiding a diverse team of support workers in providing quality, person-centred services to individuals with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading teams and managing workforce needs while adhering to organisational standards. They will be able to foster positive relationships within the team environment and provide effective supervision to ensure staff are equipped to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of support workers to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve workforce planning, recruitment, induction, and performance management.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions of new customers into services.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, including Individual Support Plans, End of Plan Reports, and Risk Assessments.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and supervision to staff to enhance their skills and abilities.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Disability, Social Work, Health, or Community Services, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in leading teams, preferably in disability support services.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and policies governing disability services.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
